BIRMINGHAM, AL — Sixteen individuals, all with ties to Calhoun County, including several from Anniston, have been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with an investigation into an alleged drug trafficking organization operating in East Alabama.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney Catherine L. Crosby, the charges stem from three separate but related indictments filed in U.S. District Court. The cases involve allegations of methamphetamine distribution, conspiracy, and firearms offenses tied to activity in Calhoun County between 2025 and 2026.
In the first indictment, Aumori Jaimon Willis, 22; Nasir Ahmad Fluker, 22; Jarek Ahmad Burroughs, 21; and Robert Blake Stovall, 33, all of Anniston, along with Edward Damon Wade, 32, of Jacksonville, are charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine. The alleged activity occurred between September 2025 and March 2026. Stovall also faces a charge related to carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, while Willis and Burroughs are charged with possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
A second indictment charges Logan Chase Turner, 28, of Boaz, and Mary Ann Alexander, 60, of Eastaboga, with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine. These alleged offenses are said to have occurred in January 2026 in Calhoun County. Turner is additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
The third indictment includes Bradderick Dewayne Nolan, 52; Barry Eugene Nolan, 58; Cederick Lamon Woolverton, 57; Dantreas Thomas, 42; and Leiquore Tavera Crook, 42, all of Anniston; Robert Jamiel David, 43; Toshi Maurice Holliday, 48; and Jermaine Jenkins, 51, all of Munford; and Gregory Lee Burnett, 48, of Gadsden. They are charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine, with alleged activity spanning from June 2025 through March 2026 in Calhoun County.
Additional charges in this indictment include firearm-related offenses against Bradderick Nolan, as well as charges against Bradderick Nolan, Barry Nolan, Holliday, Jenkins, and David for the use of a communication facility to facilitate drug trafficking.
Officials stated the investigation is part of the Homeland Security Task Force initiative, a multi-agency effort focused on identifying and prosecuting organized criminal activity. The task force includes federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies working collaboratively on cases involving drug trafficking, firearms violations, and other related crimes.
The investigation was led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Drug Enforcement Administration, with support from multiple agencies, including local law enforcement agencies throughout Calhoun County and surrounding areas. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Allison J. Garnett and Brittany T. Byrd are prosecuting the cases.
Authorities emphasized that an indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
