Piedmont, AL – The Piedmont Police Department has released its patrol activity report for March 2026, outlining the department’s law enforcement efforts and community engagement throughout the month.
According to the report, officers responded to a total of 394 calls for service and completed 111 incident reports. The department recorded 37 misdemeanor arrests and 2 felony arrests during the reporting period.
In addition to responding to calls, officers conducted 507 officer-initiated contacts, reflecting proactive policing efforts. The department also carried out 226 extra patrols and district checks, aimed at increasing visibility and maintaining public safety in key areas.
Traffic enforcement remained a component of patrol activity, with 90 traffic stops and citations issued. Officers logged a total of 8,286 miles patrolled across the city during the month.
The data provides a snapshot of the department’s operational activity and highlights both reactive and proactive policing measures undertaken in March.
