No Excuse for Child Abuse- A Candlelight Vigil

Alexandria, AL – No Excuse for Child Abuse- A Candlelight Vigil will be held on April 26th at 7:00 pm. This event will be held at the Alexandria Community Center and hosted by CASA of the Cheaha Region and Evelyn Moon Children’s Services. Join the community in this public event as Calhoun County Commissioner Terry Howell presents a Proclamation recognizing April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Calhoun County. Immediately following, candles will be lit in unison as we acknowledge the children in our community impacted by child abuse and draw closer to a solution to END it.

Together, CASA of the Cheaha Region, Evelyn Moon Children’s Services, and the Calhoun Cleburne Children’s Center brings this candlelight vigil to the community sponsored by Presiding Family Court Judge Peggy Lacher, District Court Judge Tom Wright, District Court Judge Randy Moeller, Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Weems, and Circuit Court Judge Tim Burgess.
