Alabama Police Organizations Seek Financial Support for Adam Willis Amid Ongoing Cancer Treatment

Alabama Police Benevolent Association

Oxford, AL – The Alabama Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are asking for financial assistance to support Adam Willis, the husband of Jaclyn Willis, an officer with the Oxford Police Department.

In 2024, Adam Willis was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer. Following treatment, his condition appeared to stabilize for more than a year. However, physicians later advised that the cancer was extremely aggressive and offered a best-case life expectancy of five years.

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Adam began experiencing stroke-like symptoms. He was taken to the University of Alabama Hospital, where medical staff determined that the existing tumor had enlarged, placing pressure on a ventricle, and that additional masses were present.

Adam and Jaclyn met with a neuro-oncologist on December 23, 2025. Updated scans showed that the tumors were continuing to grow and were behaving as a higher-grade cancer. While an initial biopsy had been planned, Adam’s medical team developed a revised treatment approach that includes infusions and radiation therapy aimed at slowing tumor growth.

Adam is continuing treatment, and the Alabama Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are requesting community support to help the Willis family manage the financial burden associated with ongoing medical care. According to the organizations, 100 percent of donations received by the Police Benevolent Foundation will go directly toward supporting Adam and Jaclyn Willis.
