Secretary of State Wes Allen Announces Release of November 5 General Election Sample Ballots

Montgomery, AL – Secretary of State Wes Allen has informed Alabama residents that sample ballots for the upcoming November 5, 2024, General Election are now available online. Alabamians can access these sample ballots for all 67 counties on the Secretary of State’s website, www.AlabamaVotes.gov.

“I encourage all Alabamians to review these sample ballots as they prepare to head to the polls on November 5,” Allen said.

In addition to viewing sample ballots, voters can use the website to register to vote with a valid Alabama driver’s license, verify their voter registration status, check their polling location, and track absentee ballots. Allen emphasized that his team has worked diligently to ensure the website is a valuable resource for voters in the lead-up to the Presidential Election.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, and voters will need to present a valid form of photo identification to cast their ballots.

Allen also extended his gratitude to county election officials for their efforts in preparing and approving the sample ballots. “As a former probate judge, I know firsthand how much preparation goes into running a fair, secure, and transparent election,” Allen noted.
