Anniston, AL – On March 4th at the Ayers Room of the Anniston Public Library the AlaBenton Genealogical Society will host “Sam Jones, Methodist Circuit Rider and his home Rose Lawn” By Alice G. Duckett. This meeting will start at 1:00 pm. The purpose of the society is to preserve local history and assist individuals who are researching and writing family and local histories as well as to encourage public officials to retain all public records for use by those engaged in historical research.
