Anniston, AL – AlaBenton Genealogical Society of Calhoun County will present a summer workshop at the Anniston Public Library on August 5th at 11:30am. The guest speaker will be the author of 17 Genealogical and Historical books, Larry Caver. He will be doing 3 mini classes that day including 1. The Road Less Traveled:A look at alternate routes used by Early Alabama Settlers for migration. 2. Preponderance of the Evidence: How to prove and/or conclude ancestral connections based on the balance of evidence. 3. The Patrons of Husbandry Fraternal Order in the Post Civil War South.
Sign in for the event will be at 11:30 am on August 5th with the price being $25 in advance and $30 at the door. All proceeds go to support the Alabama Room of the Anniston Public Library. Registration forms are available at the AlaBenton Genealogical Society Facebook page and in the Alabama Room.
