ALEXANDRIA — Alexandria’s boys and girls swept an in-school match with Wellborn on Wednesday, with the boys winning 72-6 and the girls winning 71-0.
Anniston’s boys got weight-class victories from Alex Le (106), Jeremy Lambert (120), Hudson Hartzog (126), Ryker Houston (132), Johnathan Santos (138), Dion Guy (144), Kion Guy (150), Christian Jones (157), Levi Toney (165), Corey Owens (175), Nehemiah Brewster (190), 215: Owen Cromer (215) and Jase Choron (285).
Wellborn’s Noah Smith won the 113-pound match.
Alexandria’s girls swept all matches: Kamryn Buchanan (100), Marlie Morris (107), Elizabeth Hunter (114), Addison Traywick (120), Ella Latta (126), Morgan Baskins (132), Katelyn Robertson (138), Savannah Fischer (145), April Perterson (152) 165: Mia Arcos (165), Emerald Hunter (185) and Ebony Hunter (235).

HEFLIN — Cleburne County defeated Valley 81-0 and Alabama School for the Blind 71-7 on Tuesday run the Tigers’ duals record to 10-0 on the season.
The Tigers got two wins apiece from Hudson Braxton (106 pounds), Connor Causey (113), Zeke Martin (120), Owen young (126), Jett Taylor (132), Jacob Biggers (138), Laken Stanley (144), Cael Fulmer (150), Hayden Norris (150), Rylan Hill (190/215) and Zander Martin (285).
