ALEXANDRIA, AL – On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the Circuit Riders Cowboy Church will host its 4th annual National Day of the Cowboy celebration from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 269 Circle C Road in Alexandria, AL. The event is part of a national observance that honors the legacy and contributions of the American cowboy to history and culture.
This family-friendly celebration will include a car, truck, and tractor show, with a $20 entry fee for participants who wish to have their vehicles judged for prizes. Admission is free for all spectators.
In addition to the vehicle showcase, attendees can enjoy catfish plates for $10, which include catfish, fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, and a drink. Yard sale spaces will be available for those interested in selling goods, and the event will also feature a 50/50 drawing ($5 per ticket) and door prizes ($1 each).
The celebration promises live singing, games, and entertainment throughout the day, inviting the community to come together for a day of fellowship, fun, and Western heritage.
The National Day of the Cowboy is celebrated annually across the United States to recognize cowboy culture and values such as hard work, honesty, and determination—principles still present in rural communities today.
