Alexandria Signings

Valley Cubs Forrest, Pope, Davis, Morris and Henderson celebrate chances to continue sports in college.

ALEXANDRIA — Alexandria is making mass signing celebrations a tradition, and the school put on another big presentation Monday.

Kicker Cleat Forrest signed with Jacksonville State two months ago but celebrated the occasion today, alongside volleyball’s Shelby (Stillman College), track’s Jaylen Henderson (Kentucky Christian) and Gadsden State Community College-bound cross country runners Kylie Davis and Trinity Pope.

Alexandria had another mass ceremony earlier this school year, when eight athletes participated. The school had nine athletes fill the Larry R. Ginn Gymnasium floor from baseline to baseline last year.
