Anniston, AL – The City of Anniston is excited to announce the opening of the Anniston Changers Minor Home Repair Grant program, managed by the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama. Starting Monday, September 16, 2024, and running until Monday, October 21, 2024, this grant opportunity is available to eligible residents who need assistance with minor home repairs that address health or safety hazards.
The grant provides up to $2,500 for qualifying residential property repairs. The application process is exclusively online. Interested individuals can apply through this link: Anniston Changers Minor Home Repair Grant Application.

Eligibility requirements include:
- Homeownership: Applicants must own a home within the Anniston city limits (view city map: Anniston Corporate City Limits).
- Personal Criteria: Applicants must be over 60 years old, mentally or physically disabled, or low income.
- Primary Residence: The application must be for a residential property that the applicant owns and occupies as their primary residence.
