Anniston Changers Minor Home Repair Grants

Anniston, AL – The Anniston Changers are thrilled to announce the commencement of their 5th round of grant opportunities, available from Monday, April 8, 2024, through Monday, May 13, 2024. These grants, focusing on minor residential property repairs to address health or safety hazards, can amount to a maximum of $2,500 per applicant.

Funded through the City of Anniston Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama, these grants aim to support charitable initiatives within the corporate city limits of Anniston, Alabama. The Anniston Changers, comprised of dedicated volunteers deeply passionate about the well-being of Anniston and its residents, collaborate with community members and organizations to undertake monthly service projects across the city.

Eligibility for these grants is subject to meeting specific criteria:
1. Ownership of a home within the corporate city limits of Anniston, Alabama (refer to the city map provided).
2. Being either over 60 years old, mentally or physically disabled, or belonging to a low-income household.
3. Submission of an application for residential property that the applicant owns and occupies as their primary residence.
