Anniston, AL – Spring is here, and with it comes another opportunity to make a difference in the Anniston community! The City of Anniston, Alabama, in partnership with St. Michael’s Medical Clinic, is hosting its latest Anniston Changers event in the Glen Addie neighborhood on Saturday, March 29, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Volunteers are invited to gather at the Dr. David Satcher & St. Michael’s Clinic, located at 426 Mulberry Avenue in Anniston, where they will receive instructions and supplies for the morning’s cleanup efforts. This initiative aims to enhance the community’s environment by tackling key beautification projects, including:
- Removing debris piles from public spaces
- Collecting litter from streets and sidewalks
- Contributing to general beautification efforts
Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for outdoor work and bring their enthusiasm for helping improve the Glen Addie neighborhood. The event is expected to last three hours, and community members of all ages are welcome to take part in this effort to foster civic pride and cleaner public spaces.
