Anniston, AL – The Jim & Shirley Justice Center at 812 Noble Street will be the venue for the upcoming National Women’s Rally: Hear Us Roar in ’24, led by Alabama Senator Vivian Figures. The event is scheduled for 11:30 am on Monday, June 24th. This rally comes two years after the overturning of Roe v. Wade, a decision that has significantly impacted women’s rights across the nation.
The rally, organized by the Calhoun County Democrat Headquarters, aims to address the ongoing challenges women face in the wake of the Dobbs decision. Participants will gather to express their commitment to preserving body autonomy and freedom of speech. Senator Vivian Figures will deliver a keynote speech, sharing words of inspiration and solidarity.
