Anniston, AL – The 8th annual Coldwater Mountain Fat Tire Festival is set to bring mountain biking enthusiasts from all over to Anniston, AL, from October 25th to 27th. This year’s event promises a weekend filled with thrilling rides, great company, and plenty of fun activities for all skill levels. The festival kicks off on Friday with a skills clinic and the popular Coldwater night ride. Participants in the night ride will also be treated to free pizza at NEABA Headquarters, followed by dinner and a movie to round off the first day.
Saturday’s events will take place at the Coldwater upper trailhead, where attendees can enjoy bike demos, group rides, vendors, and gravity shuttles. Food trucks will be available throughout the day to keep participants fueled up for the activities. The excitement continues into the evening with a block party in downtown Anniston featuring live music and a lively atmosphere. Local restaurants will be open, and beer will be sold at the event.
On Sunday, the festival moves to the McClellan Trail System for an Adventure Race and more group rides, ensuring a full weekend of biking fun.
