Anniston Library Introduces Weekly Virtual Reality Experience

virtual reality Wednesday

Anniston, AL – Get ready for an immersive adventure at the Anniston Library with  their Virtual Reality (VR) Wednesdays. Starting on June 5th, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, the library will set up the HTC Vive VR system in the Teen Area, offering an exciting opportunity for teens to explore the latest in virtual reality technology.

Every Wednesday, teens aged 13 and up can sign up for a 30-minute VR session, diving into a world of interactive fun and educational experiences. Whether it’s exploring new worlds, engaging in thrilling games, or experiencing educational simulations, the HTC Vive promises to deliver a captivating experience.

To participate, a signed parental consent form is required, ensuring that all VR users have the necessary permission to engage in this high-tech activity. The library staff will be on hand to assist with the setup and to provide guidance on using the VR system safely and effectively.

The Anniston Library’s VR Wednesdays are part of their ongoing effort to incorporate modern technology into their programs, providing the community with access to innovative and engaging resources. This initiative is designed to inspire creativity, enhance learning, and offer a unique recreational activity for local teens.
