Talladega, AL – Per the Talladega Police Department on July 5, 2023, detectives with the Talladega Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and The Anniston Police Department arrested Daviontae Q’Shawn Malik Snodgress, 23 of Anniston and charged him with Capital Murder in the shooting death of Quontavius Janard Cooper, 22 of Anniston. The shooting occurred on 06/17/2023 at the intersection of E Battle St and Haynes St. in Talladega. Snodgress will be held in the Talladega County Jail under no bond. The Talladega Police Department gave special thanks to the Anniston Police Department for their assistance in this case.
