ANNISTON, AL — An Anniston man has been sentenced to more than a decade in federal prison after pleading guilty to multiple methamphetamine distribution charges.
Quinton Montral Gunn, 45, also known as “Poo Nanny,” was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Corey L. Maze to 126 months, or 10½ years, in federal prison. Gunn pleaded guilty in May to three counts of distributing methamphetamine.
According to court records, the charges stemmed from three separate methamphetamine sales involving a police informant between September 2023 and September 2024.
The first transaction occurred Sept. 7, 2023, when Gunn sold two ounces of methamphetamine for $500 at Parkwin Kitchen. On Oct. 6, 2023, authorities said Gunn sold another three ounces for $675 at a location on Park Avenue.
Nearly a year later, on Sept. 30, 2024, Gunn sold three ounces of methamphetamine for $450 at his Anniston residence, according to court records.
“If you choose to flood our neighborhoods with methamphetamine, you aren’t just running a criminal enterprise, you are reserving a spot in federal prison,” said DEA Special Agent in Charge John P. Scott of the New Orleans Field Division.
U.S. Attorney Phillip W. Williams Jr. said federal prosecutors will continue working with local law enforcement agencies to target individuals involved in trafficking illegal drugs into communities.
