  • Cash Reimbursement
    1. Angie Dothard attended America’s Mart on July 17, 2021 to purchase merchandise for the gift shop. The Museum credit card declined due to suspected fraud. The reimbursement is for a $64 inventory purchase.

  • Alcohol Applications
    1. A Retail Beer (Off Premises Only) and Retail Table Wine (Office Premises Only) alcohol application for A  Retail Beer (Off Premises Only) and Retail Table Wine (Office Premises Only) alcohol application for YAM Business, LLC d/b/a Sparkle Mart located at 4022 Bynum Leatherwood Road in the police jurisdiction.

  • Grant Application
    1. 2021 ALEA Homeland Security Local Competitive Grant for Interoperable Communications- $ 50,000 max award with no matching funds to replace 10 portable radios.  The total cost of the radios is $53,395.30. AFD will pay $3,395.30 for the overage.

    1. Evaluation of bids for the removing and re-roofing of 1025 Gurnee Ave (formerly Moore Printing)
    2. Evaluation of bids for the repair and resurfacing of the track at the Anniston Sports Complex.

  • City Manager Updates
      1. Discuss purchase of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) using Rescue Fund monies
  • Mask Mandates – The discussion of mandating masks was brought up. A decision was reached that all city buildings would mandate masks for staff and visitors. Staff can remove masks if there are working alone or are away from groups. This would be effective on August 18th.
