Mayors Ride

ANNISTON, AL – Residents are invited to join Mayor Ciara Smith for a special community bike ride on Saturday, July 12, to celebrate the new connection between the Chief Ladiga Trail and Main Street Anniston. The event, dubbed The Mayor’s Ride, highlights the city’s continued efforts to promote outdoor recreation, health, and downtown revitalization.

The ride will begin at Wig’s Wheels, located at 1229 Noble Street, with participants encouraged to arrive early for check-in and socializing. Kickstands go up promptly at 8:00 AM. The route will take cyclists from Noble Street to 11th Street and then onto the Chief Ladiga Trail toward Michael Tucker Park before returning to the starting point.
