Anniston, AL – The Anniston Museum and Gardens invites visitors of all ages to step back in time on Saturday, June 14, at 11:00 a.m. for “What’s the Story? Ancient Egypt.” This immersive educational program offers guests the chance to explore the history, traditions, and daily life of ancient Egypt with the help of a costumed Educational Interpreter.
Participants will travel 2,300 years into the past to learn about the fascinating world of pharaohs, pyramids, and ancient customs. The interactive session is designed to engage both first-time visitors and returning guests, with fresh insights and engaging storytelling.
“What’s the Story? Ancient Egypt” is included with regular museum admission and is free for Anniston Museum and Gardens members. The program aims to enhance cultural understanding and spark curiosity about one of history’s most influential civilizations.
