Anniston Museums and Gardens Hosts First ‘Bang for Bucks!’ Clay Shoot Competition

Anniston, AL – The Anniston Museums and Gardens is gearing up for its inaugural Bang for Bucks! Clay Shoot Competition, set to take place at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park. This exciting event invites marksmen of all skill levels to showcase their shooting abilities while supporting local museums and gardens.

The competition kicks off on Saturday, [insert date], with registration and check-in at 8:00 a.m., followed by the competition at 9:00 a.m. Participants will compete in two-person teams, vying for cash prizes and awards. Winners will be announced during the lunch and awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

CEI Services
  • First Place Team: $200 + Award
  • Second Place Team: $100 + Certificate
  • Third Place Team: $50 + Certificate
  • Door prizes will also be available for participants.

Teams can register for $200 per team, and all shooters must check in individually to obtain a safety card. ID is required.The competition is open to ages 10 and up, with younger participants required to compete alongside a parent.

Shooters must bring their own:

  • Shotguns
  • Ammunition (7.5-9 shot)
  • Eye protection (glasses or sunglasses are acceptable)

Ear protection will be provided, and ammunition will be available for purchase on-site.
