ANNISTON, AL – Scouts, families, and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to participate in a fun-filled day of exploration and hands-on activities at the Scout Day Event hosted by Anniston Museums and Gardens on Saturday, March 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 800 Museum Dr., Anniston, AL 36206.
This engaging event will feature a variety of outdoor activities centered around creativity, learning, and adventure. Organized in conjunction with local Girl Scout Sarah Sloughfy’s Gold Award project, the day offers an exciting opportunity for Girl Scouts of all levels to complete the necessary steps to earn the Nature Try-It Badge (badge not included).

10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Outdoor Activities:
- Pattern Art – Create nature-inspired designs to take home.
- Nature Notebook Creation – Craft a personalized journal to document outdoor discoveries.
- Guided Trail Hike – Explore nature through interactive “Look and Learn” prompts.

- $15 per person (ages 4+)
- $12 per Scout (BSA and GSA) in uniform or vest

Each ticket includes access to all Scout Day activities, two s’mores, a bottle of water, and admission to the Anniston Museum of Natural History.
