Anniston Museums and Gardens to Host Youth Espionage-Themed Workshop

Covert Camp Mastering the Art

ANNISTON, AL – On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Anniston Museums and Gardens will host a unique educational experience titled Covert Camp: Mastering the Art of Espionage. The event will take place at the museum campus on Museum Drive and is designed for children ages 9 to 13.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities that introduce fundamental espionage techniques. The program includes instruction in stealth tactics, codebreaking, cryptography, tracking, observation, and the use of spy tools. The workshop is intended to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork in an interactive setting.

Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $135 per child, which includes a daily lunch. Members of Anniston Museums and Gardens receive a $15 discount. Space is limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

This program is part of the museum’s continued efforts to provide educational and engaging programming for youth in the community during the summer months.
