Anniston Opens Their Public Warming Stations to Help the Homeless Community

Public Warming Station Nov. 30 - Dec. 1st

Anniston, AL – The City of Anniston asks that everyone please be aware of freezing temperatures that are projected to begin Wednesday, November 30, 2022 (11/30/22). In light of the forecasted weather conditions, a public warming station in The Bridge at Anniston First United Methodist Church (1400 Noble St, Anniston, AL 36201) will open at 5:00 PM this Wednesday (11/30/22). The public warming station will remain open until this Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 8:00 AM (12/01/2022).

This warming station has been made possible by the City of Anniston’s Community Task Force on Homelessness, led by United Way of East Central Alabama, in partnership with the Anniston First United Methodist Church, Interfaith Ministries of Calhoun County, and His Hands and Feet Ministries.
