Each week the Anniston Police release their officer involved activity. They are broken down into two separate sections, the first is police patrol and investigations related and, the second is the street crimes unit.
Anniston Officers answered a total of 870 calls for service.

The Anniston Police Department currently has five new officers assigned to Field Training Officers and one getting ready to start the academy. They are also still hiring and has 14 open positions.
