Anniston, AL — The Anniston Police Foundation is set to host the “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” charity walk on Saturday, June 8th, at 9:00 a.m. The event aims to benefit 2nd Chance, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing free services to those affected by violence.
The walk will start at The Justin Sollohub Justice Center and conclude at Sinclair Social. Participants can look forward to a fun-filled morning with food, drinks, and music. This event offers a unique opportunity to show support for a crucial cause while enjoying a sense of community.
Anniston Police officers participating in the walk are seeking sponsors and pairs of high heels to wear during the event. To sponsor an officer or donate heels, please contact Cathy Lilio at 256-591-3559.
