Anniston, AL – As the new year begins, the AlaBenton Genealogical Society is gearing up to assist individuals in embarking on a journey into their family history. The “Beginning Genealogy” workshop is set to take place on January 6, 2024, starting at 1 pm in the Ayers Room of the Anniston Public Library.

The workshop aims to provide beginners with essential tools and guidance to kickstart their exploration of family roots. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for sign-in, which will commence at 12:40 pm. The event is open to the public, and all those interested in delving into their family history are invited to attend this free workshop.
