Anniston, AL – Hamilton Park Welcomes Latest Additions as Anniston Boosts Recreational Spaces

In a remarkable year of playground upgrades, the City of Anniston is turning heads with transformative improvements to its local parks. The most recent enhancements, showcased at Hamilton Park, are set to delight residents just in time for the holiday season, marking a season of joy and play for all.

The City’s Park and Recreation Department has been working diligently throughout 2023 to elevate the recreational experience for the community. The commitment to creating vibrant, engaging spaces for families and friends has resulted in a series of notable upgrades across various parks.

Key Improvements in 2023:

1. Brand New Playground at the Youth Soccer Complex (745 Summerall Gate Rd): A cutting-edge playground has been introduced, creating a fun and safe environment for young soccer enthusiasts.

2. Brand New Splash Pad at the South Highland Center’s Nettles Park, Plus Playground Upgrades (214 S. Christine Ave): The addition of a splash pad and upgrades to the playground at Nettles Park provide refreshing recreational options.

3. Upgraded Splash Pad & Playground at Zinn Park (101 W. 14th St): Zinn Park now boasts improved splash pad features and upgraded playground equipment for families to enjoy.

4. Upgraded Playground Equipment for Carver Center Park (720 W. 14th St): Carver Center Park has received new and improved playground equipment, enhancing the overall play experience.

5.Upgraded Playground & New Pickleball Courts at the Hodges Community Center (3125 Spring Valley Rd): Hodges Community Center now offers upgraded playground facilities and the introduction of new Pickleball courts.

6. Improvements to the Aquatic & Fitness Center Pool (130 Summerall Gate Rd): The Aquatic & Fitness Center Pool has undergone enhancements to provide a better swimming experience.

7. Playground and Park Upgrades to Hamilton-Ballard Park (700 Jefferson Ave): The spotlight is on Hamilton-Ballard Park with the latest upgrades, creating a more inviting space for the community.
