Anniston Woman Fatally Struck in Early Morning Crash

Fatality

Anniston, AL  – A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian early Tuesday morning has claimed the life of an Anniston woman. The incident occurred at approximately 1:13 a.m. on Alabama 202, near the 3-mile marker, about four miles west of Anniston in Calhoun County.

The pedestrian, Angela L. Mosley, 46, was walking in the roadway when she was struck by a 2005 Toyota Camry driven by Zachary S. Thrasher, 37, also of Anniston. Mosley was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details have not been released at this time.
