UPDATE: Anniston’s Chili Cook-Off Set to Bring the Heat This Saturday

ANNISTON, AL — Get ready to turn up the heat as the City of Anniston hosts its highly anticipated Chili Cook-Off this Saturday, March 29, at the Carver Community Center. From 1 PM to 3 PM, chili lovers can indulge in a variety of flavorful recipes and cast their votes for Anniston’s 2025 Chili Champion.

For just $3 admission, attendees can sample chili from each contestant and help determine the winner. Those looking for a hearty serving can purchase a full bowl for $5.

This family-friendly event promises great food, friendly competition, and plenty of fun for all ages. Whether you’re a chili connoisseur or just looking for a tasty way to spend the afternoon, this cook-off is the place to be.

Application

The event will take place at 720 W. 14th Street, Anniston, AL, with local radio station 93.5 WHOG lending its support to the festivities.

UPDATE: We regret to inform you that the 2025 Chili Cook-Off, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 29th, at the Carver Community Center, has been cancelled.

Unfortunately, several of our registered contestants had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances, which significantly impacts the event’s ability to proceed as planned.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we hope to reschedule the cook-off in the near future with even more flavor and fun!
