City of Anniston Public Information Officer, Jackson Hodges wanted to remind all residents of Anniston of the upcoming meeting on Thursday, September 9, 2021 regarding the comprehensive plan. This in the first of two meetings.

Citizens of Anniston, please be aware of two upcoming Comprehensive Plan events. To start, on Thursday, September 9th, there will be a Charrette Workshop from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Anniston City Meeting Center (1615 Noble St, Anniston, AL 36201) in the Main Hall.
At this event the Comprehensive Plan team will present their key findings to the public. Afterwards, the public will break up into teams of roughly 8-10 people. Each team will be working with a large map of the city, and shall present their planning ideas to the Comprehensive Plan team after they are finished working in their groups.
After this Charrette Workshop, there will be a Concept Plan Presentation of the Comprehensive Plan on Monday, September 13th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Anniston City Meeting Center in the Main Hall. At this event, the Comprehensive Plan team will present their concept plan to the public, as well as hold a question and answer session.
