Jacksonville, AL – Ansley Lyons, the reigning Royal International Miss Southern States Role Model, is making a lasting impact in the fight against food insecurity with the installation of a Little Free Pantry at the Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center (JCOC).
A passionate advocate for hunger relief, Ansley has been actively involved with JCOC, dedicating her time to helping families in need. The new Little Free Pantry provides 24/7 access to non-perishable food and hygiene products, ensuring that community members facing hardship have a reliable resource at any time.
This initiative is an extension of Ansley’s personal platform, Drive Out Hunger, which has successfully collected more than 8,000 food items over the past five years. By installing the pantry, she aims to provide immediate relief while fostering a spirit of giving within the community.
“I believe no one should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from,” said Lyons. “This pantry is a simple way to make a big difference, providing immediate relief to those in need while encouraging community involvement.”
Ansley’s mission follows the principles of D.R.I.V.E.—Donate, Resource, Inspire, Volunteer, and Educate—guiding her efforts to engage others in hunger relief initiatives. As she prepares for the 2025 Royal International Miss International Pageant, she continues to expand her outreach, setting a goal for pageant delegates to donate over 25,000 food items by the summer.
With the installation of the Little Free Pantry, Ansley hopes to inspire individuals and organizations to take action in their communities, ensuring that no one goes without basic necessities.
