On January 21, 2019 The Jacksonville Police Department received a report of a black male armed with a handgun attempting to break into a residence in the 900 block of Ivan Drive SW in Jacksonville, Al. Officers responded to the area to speak to the homeowner. Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and obtain warrants for his arrest.

On January 22, 2019 Jacksonville Police Department Investigators, along with members of The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Danquan Martez Martin, a 19-year-old black male of Jacksonville and charged with Attempted Burglary in the 1st Degree. ($50,000 CASH bond). Martin is being held in the Calhoun County Jail pending bond with a court date of February 21, 2019.
