Anniston, AL – The Anniston Public Library will host a special author storytime event on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ayer’s Room. Children’s book author Vallean Jackson will visit the library to read her book, Adventures with Liyah: Walking through the Ocean.
The event is part of the library’s ongoing efforts to promote literacy and community engagement among young readers. Following the storytime session, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a craft activity inspired by the book.
Vallean Jackson is known for her work in children’s literature and focuses on imaginative storytelling that encourages learning and creativity. The event is free and open to the public and will take place at the library’s location at 108 E 10th St, Anniston, AL 36201.
