Oxford, AL – On Monday, September 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM, the Oxford Public Library will host a free program featuring author Terah Shelton Harris. Harris, known for her novels “One Summer in Savannah” and the recently released “Long After We Are Gone,” will discuss her latest work during the event.
Terah Shelton Harris, a librarian and freelance writer, has also contributed to numerous consumer and trade magazines, including Catapult, Women’s Health, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Backpacker, and Minority Nurse. Her diverse writing background enriches her novels with a unique perspective.
The program is co-sponsored by the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and the Alabama Public Library Service. The event is open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear Harris discuss the themes and inspirations behind “Long After We Are Gone.”
