On Wednesday, April 20, 2022 the Berman Museum will host a Ukraine and Russia: Historical Context for Current Events discussion from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Russia’s recent invasion of Ukraine caught much of the world off guard. However, when you look at the history of each country and their interactions with each other, a pattern of historical events emerges. By seeing that pattern and understanding its origins, we can create a clearer understanding of the current events taking place in eastern Europe. Join Berman Museum volunteer docent and history teacher, Joel Hawbaker, as he shares this timely look at the history between Russia and Ukraine.
*This is a non-political presentation and meant only to give historical context.
This program is $8 per person and is free for members.
