Oxford, AL – The Oxford Performing Arts Center (OPAC) will welcome the legendary jazz-rock fusion band Blood, Sweat & Tears, featuring vocalist Jason Scheff, on Saturday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m. This highly anticipated concert was originally scheduled for April 26 but was rescheduled to the June date.
Blood, Sweat & Tears first helped open OPAC during its inaugural season in 2013. Now, over a decade later, they return to the same stage, offering audiences another chance to experience their distinctive sound that blends rock, jazz, and blues influences.
With a legacy spanning more than 50 years, Blood, Sweat & Tears remains a cornerstone of genre-defying music. Their Grammy-winning catalog includes iconic hits such as “Spinning Wheel,” “And When I Die,” and “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy.” Known for their innovative arrangements and dynamic live performances, the band continues to draw fans old and new.
The show will feature longtime Chicago member Jason Scheff on lead vocals, adding a fresh layer of energy to the group’s enduring musical journey. Audiences can expect a night of classic favorites and top-tier musicianship.
