Brighten the Days of Children at Children’s of Alabama: Send Halloween Cards

5 Send Halloween cards to patients at Children’s of Alabama

Birmingham, AL – The prospect of spending holidays in a hospital can be a challenging experience for anyone, but it’s particularly tough for children. Now, you have the opportunity to make Halloween memorable for the young patients at Children’s of Alabama by sending them a thoughtful card.

Running until October 30, 2023, a heartwarming initiative allows you to send free Halloween greeting cards to children in the hospital. To participate, simply visit www.give.childrensal.org/Halloween, where you can select one of three delightful card designs. Hospital staff will take care of the printing and distribution of these cards, ensuring they reach the young patients on Tuesday, October 31.

This initiative receives invaluable support from the Protective Life Corporation, which has been sponsoring Halloween activities at Children’s of Alabama for the past nine years. The card drive provides an opportunity for the community to come together and bring smiles to the faces of children during a time when hospital visitation is limited.

It’s important to note that, while the hospital deeply appreciates these heartfelt gestures, they are unable to accept in-person gift donations, food/candy, stuffed animals, toys that depict violence, religious items, crocheted knit items, or gently used or homemade items on behalf of the patients.
