Jacksonville, AL – The Calhoun County Community Art Show is currently open to the public at the Manners Gallery in Hammond Hall. This annual event, now in its third year, is hosted by the Jacksonville Arts Council in collaboration with the Jacksonville State University (JSU) Department of Art and Design. The show aims to bridge the community and university arts communities, showcasing the diverse talents of local artists.
The exhibit, which opened on Friday, July 19, will run until Friday, August 16. Residents of Calhoun County have contributed a wide array of artworks, making this event a vibrant celebration of local creativity.
Visitors are welcome to explore the gallery from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Refreshments were provided at the opening reception, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
