Calhoun County (Alabama) Recycling has announced the date and details on the free dump day! This event is sponsored by the Calhoun County Commissioners and is offered four times a year. The next date is April 16, 2022 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
There will be free disposal of: appliances, yard waste, shingles, scrap metal, carpet, and remodeling waster. There is a fee for household garbage and tires. The dump also accepts used motor oil and car batteries for recycling. Make sure to take advantage of this day!
