The Calhoun County Journal is happy to announce that we have partnered with East Alabama Sports Today, better known as E.A. Sports Today, to provide local sports coverage.
E.A. Sports Today primarily covers high school sporting events throughout all of East Alabama but does also cover some of the college and non-scholastic sports events as well.
We at the Calhoun County Journal understood that many of our readers wanted to know what the outcomes of local games were. We contacted Kenny Wright of E.A. Sports Today and discussed the ability for us to utilize his specialized platform for our readers as well. Kenny was happy and excited to be able to offer their services to the community.
A lot like the Calhoun County Journal, E.A. Sports Today is a free sports news media outlet. They believe that the public should be able to read the news at no charge so they can stay informed with current events. When the Calhoun County Journal was previously the Jacksonville Journal we were able to cover the Jacksonville City Schools sports as well. Back then we would also provide our articles to E.A. Sports Today through Al Muskewitz. It was from this interaction that we were able to learn more about their platform and earned our deep respect for how they operate.
