Calhoun County, AL – Ohatchee goes 4-2, takes silver bracket in Supreme Courts tournament. Shorthanded Pleasant Valley goes 2-2 on the day.

 

Ohatchee went 4-2 and won the silver bracket at the Supreme Courts Tournament on Saturday.

The Indians opened the day with losses to Decatur and Guntersville then won four in a row, beating West Point, White Plains, Boaz and Oakman.

Pleasant Valley, still missing injured setter Maddie Schwabe, went 2-2, losing to Buckhorn, beating Gadsden City and Hayden and falling to Mobile Christian.

Alexandria sweeps at Oxford to improve to 9-0. Oxford beats Donoho, Pell City. Piedmont, Faith Christian sweep. Ohatchee, Wellborn win.

 

Alexandria swept a quad at Oxford on Thursday and looks to be the clear leader for the top seed in the Calhoun County volleyball tournament.

Alexandria beat Donoho 25-12, 25-13 and Oxford 14-25, 25-9, 16-14 to improve to 9-0 on the season.

Oxford beat Donoho 25-11, 25-17 and Pell City 25-22,25-19, 25-22.

PIEDMONT SWEEPS: Piedmont swept a trimatch, beating Jacksonville 25-23, 25-21 and Cedar Bluff 25-16, 26-24 to improve to 2-7 on the season.

Jacksonville beat Cedar Bluff 25-17, 26-24 in the other match. Top performers:
