Both parties aim to provide prospective candidates the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
Calhoun County Republican Party
The Calhoun County Republican Party will begin qualifying for County Candidates on October 16, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Saks Community Center, located at 20 Hess Drive, Anniston, AL 36206. The available elected positions include Calhoun County School Board and Probate Judge.
Individuals interested in running for these positions must submit qualifying documents and pay a qualifying fee equal to two percent of the yearly salary for the position they seek. Calhoun County Democrat Party
Democrat Qualifying for Calhoun County Offices for the 2024 election cycle began on October 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. The offices that will be on the ballot include Circuit Clerk, Circuit Judge, Probate Judge, and Calhoun County School Board.
