Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has a team of Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D) certified instructors who teach this free 12 hour course to citizens. The R.A.D. program was developed to empower women through self-defense. The R.A.D. program is dedicated to teaching women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, by utilizing easy effective and proven self-defense tactics. Our system of realistic defense will provide a woman with the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance.
