Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating recent property crimes and is calling on the public for help. By encouraging community involvement, the Sheriff’s Office hopes to improve public safety and hold those accountable for these criminal activities.
Incident 1: Sometime between 11/17/24 and 11/18/24 a White Ford F150 was stolen from a business on Boiling Springs Road in Ohatchee. The F150 had a piece of the driver’s side window broken, a partially bent hood, an orange fuel pump in the back, and two 55 gallon drums on the back.
Incident 2: Sometime between 11/15/24 and 11/16/24, copper wiring was cut from the AT&T lines in the 1200 block of A.P. Hollingsworth Road in Wellington.
Catch of the Week: On November 21st, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence on Highway 9 in the White Plains community. The operation led to the arrest of Layla Ingle, who now faces multiple charges, including Trafficking Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree. However, another resident, Johnny Paul King, was not at the scene during the search. He now has multiple warrants issued for his arrest. We need your help to locate Johnny Paul King.
