Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is actively engaged in investigations related to recent property crimes and is reaching out to the public for assistance. Incident 1:In the early hours of 4/3/24, a residence was burglarized on Gilberts Ferry Road in Ohatchee. The unknown suspect kicked the door in, was surprised by homeowners, and ran into the woodline.

Incident 2: Sometime between 4/5/24 and 4/6/24, a vehicle was damaged while parked unoccupied at a residence in the 800 block of Snow Circle in Hobson City. The damage was believed to be intentional and deputies are searching for the offender.
