Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Seek Public Assistance in Recent Property Crime Investigations

Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is actively engaged in investigations related to recent property crimes and is reaching out to the public for assistance. By fostering community involvement, the Sheriff’s Office aims to enhance public safety and bring those responsible for criminal activities to justice.

 

Incident 1: Sometime between 5/12/24 and 6/15/24, a travel trailer was broken into on Hwy 21 in Oxford. A Sway Hitch, a battery, a 36 inch Insignia Smart TV, 2 RV connection cords, a surge protector, and other miscellaneous items were stolen.

Incident 2: Sometime on 6/14/24, a 2002 Silver Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab truck was stolen from TranthamFarms in Alexandria.

Incident 3: Sometime between 6/10/24 and 6/11/24, someone damaged a vehicle on Gate 5 Road in Alexandria. The driver’s side, hood, and bumper were severely damaged.

Incident 4: Sometime between 6/13/24 and 6/17/24, a 2017 Yamaha Grizzley 700 4 wheeler was stolen from the White Plains Youth Sports Complex on Highway 9 in Anniston.
