Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is actively engaged in investigations related to recent property crimes and is reaching out to the public for assistance. Incident 1: Sometime during the evening of 6/28/24, a black Toyota Tacoma was broken into in the parking lot of Jacks in Alexandria. A briefcase containing rare coins was stolen.
Incident 2: Sometime between 5/20/24 and 7/11/24, a storage unit was broken into on Hwy 431 in Wellington. A couch, a washer and dryer, and 2 headboards were stolen.
Incident 3: Sometime between 6/16/24 and 7/16/24, a black wrought iron swing bench was stolen from Christ’s Church on Roy Webb Road in Piedmont.
