Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating recent property crimes and is calling on the public for help. By encouraging community involvement, the Sheriff’s Office hopes to improve public safety and hold those accountable for these criminal activities.
Incident 1: On 2/8/25, someone broke into a residence on J.O. Bennett Drive in Anniston. Nothing appears to have been taken, but items in the home were tampered with.
Incident 2: Sometime between 12/1/24 and 2/1/25, a black car hauler trailer was stolen from a property on Bama Trail in Ohatchee.
Catch of the Week: The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit received a tip that several wanted individuals were at an Oxford area Hotel. Those subjects were located, and evidence of drug activity was also found. Multiple search warrants were conducted, and that led to the arrest of the individuals.
- Justice Nicole King, who already had a warrant for Probation Violation for Obstructing Justice – giving false ID, was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest.
- Tabitha Diane Bishop, who already had a warrant for Failure to Appear for Possession of Marijuana 2nd, was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest.
- Hallie Taylor Johnson, who already had a warrant for Probation Violation for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance x2, was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
- Whitney Leigh Snyder was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
